Homeschooling High School - through My Teen's Eyes

Welcome! I am glad that you are here.  I invite you to subscribe, and follow BJ's Homeschool on  Facebook Google Pinterest.

Today, I am sharing all about our high

school adventures....through the eyes of my

Below are her favorite photos, by her, (or by me, at her request)....taken during her high school years  at home.  Please don't miss the video that she
put together, at the end of this post.

Now, let's begin with breakfast...

Her favorite - applesauce and homemade cinnamon rolls! Then birdwatching....

....while studying by the living room window,

.....watching with the changing seasons.

Going on mini-nature road trips, spotting wildlife...

Through that, my daughter learned to love nature,  becoming our family bird photographer....

and for flowers, too!  Making lots of friends...

 ....through activities, like...

...where she served as youth

youth senator, and even youth chief justice.

Learning irish stepdancing...

....and performing at nursing homes,

and Irish Heritage Festivals.

Then, going on field trips with other

teens, this Asian Festival, held at a state park.

Through all of these things, and more, my daughter...

...developed the confidence and skills to take her next step...

...which, for her, was college....where her journey continues!  Read about her first year college experiences here.

She took everything that she learned from homeschooling......

.....with her to college.  And it is a joy to

watch her continue to develop and grow

I hope you enjoy her video, above, on her

homeschool high school adventures!  It won

second place at Oak Meadow's

homeschool video contest.  Oak Meadow

offers creative, hands-on curriculum K - 12.
