Frugal Online Courses for Homeschooling Middle or High School

Summary:  Sharing our favorite frugal homeschooling middle or high school curriculum that is online. Teens love the independence of that! Some are live group classes while others are computer based for independent learning.  #frugalonlinehomeschoolcurriculum #homeschoolhighschoolcurriculum This post may included affiliate links to products that we love and have used or would use in our  own homeschool. Are you looking for an online course or two for your high schooler this year?

There are now so many options out there, that it can be overwhelming when you go online and search for these computer based courses yourself.

I have gathered together a number of resources for online courses below.  Some offer group based live courses, others are video based, and still others are web-based online and done independently by your student.

My daughter enjoyed working online for math and science during all of her high school years.  That gave her the independence that she wanted, and the help for me to teach courses, like biology and math, that I was not really prepared to teach myself.

We used Monarch from Alpha Omega Publications ourselves.  Those worked very well for us.  But since then, many new online course options have popped up.

Does your teen also want that feeling of independence that online courses can give them?  Feel free to check out the resources on this list and see if any of them are a fit for your student.
